I am Jamil Najjar
Jamil Najjar is a Tunisian filmmaker, director of films, series, commercials, and music videos. Born on August 10, 1980, he studied multimedia with a specialization in assistant directing and later completed advanced studies in film directing.
Throughout his career, he worked extensively as an assistant director in Tunisia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Turkey. Many of the films and commercials he contributed to have won international awards and reached millions of viewers on social media.
In 2025, after a long and successful career behind the scenes, he transitioned fully into directing and released his debut feature film “Jad”, inspired by a true story. The film has already gained critical acclaim and traveled to several international film festivals.
